Patriots vs Dolphins Week 1 Picks and Predictions: How Will Jones & Co. Fare in South Beach?

It hasn’t been the best summer for the New England Patriots who replaced offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels with one defensive-minded coach and another special teams coach.

Now the sharp betting community is piling on the Miami Dolphins ahead of the Week 1 matchup in the Florida heat and late bettors are left asking themselves what this New England offense might be Sunday.

Find out where my best bet lies in my NFL picks and predictions for Patriots vs. Dolphins.

How to Stream Broncos vs Bills Live Free — in the U.S.

Coming into this season, most pegged the Buffalo Bills to contend for a Super Bowl, and while they may yet do so, the product through nine games has been inconsistent at best. Now they return home to face a Denver Broncos side that many expected to take a step forward under Sean Payton, but that’s also failed to materialize. The NFL odds have the Bills laying seven points as home favorites with the total sitting at 47.

While there are a number of different subscription-based TV channels and streaming services available to watch this game… did you know that you can also live stream Broncos/Bills directly from legal sports betting sites?

Can You Really Bet on That? The Wildest and Most Fun Super Bowl Prop Bets Available

Just like there is no viewing spectacle as big as the Super Bowl each year, there is also no gambling event like the finale. With such a large market, sportsbooks are more comfortable trotting out all sorts of unique NFL odds.

Depending on where you are, not all these markets will be available to you. In the United States, the broad rule of thumb is that regulated books can only offer bets that would be settled on the field.

For instance, sportsbooks such as FanDuel and DraftKings are prohibited from accepting bets on the style of jersey Taylor Swift will wear while cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs from her suite. However, they can offer bets on the Over/Under of the total sum of jersey numbers for players who score touchdowns.

Panthers vs Bears Picks, Predictions, and Best Bets for Week 5: Swift Helps Chicago Cover

The Carolina Panthers will limp into the Windy City for a Week 5 showdown with the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field.

Chicago has a great opportunity to build on last week’s win, facing a Carolina defense missing several starters, including massive gaps in the front seven. That sets up for a solid day from Bears running back D’Andre Swift, as highlighted in my Panthers vs. Bears predictions below.

Keep reading for my NFL picks on Sunday, October 6.

Stephen Curry wins 2023-24 Magic Johnson Award

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is the winner of the 2023-24 Magic Johnson Award, the Professional Basketball Writers Association announced Wednesday. The award is voted on by more than 200 writers and editors who belong to the PBWA and honors the NBA player who excels both on the court and in displaying "cooperation and grace in dealing with the media and fans," according to the organization. It's the second Johnson award for Curry, who also won in 2016. Damian Lillard (2017, 2020) and Shane Battier (2007, 2013) are the other two-time winners. There were five finalists for the award: Curry, Bam Adebayo (Miami Heat), DeMar DeRozan (Chicago Bulls), Rudy Gobert (Minnesota Timberwolves) and Tyrese Haliburton (Indiana Pacers). Brighton v Leicester: match preview

The fitness gods are seriously testing Leicester. Brendan Rodgers has seven players missing as his side attempt to avoiding ceding further ground to the pack chasing a top-four finish. The ghosts of last season’s failure to qualify for the Champions League add even more pressure and Brighton will hope they can capitalise. Graham Potter’s side need a win. Climbing away from danger and a line through the agonising West Brom debacle last week are a must. Graham Searles

‘A great honour’: Mark Noble returning to West Ham as sporting director

Mark Noble is returning to West Ham as sporting director months after his retirement. The former captain will start in January in the newly created post at his boyhood club, where he played for 18 years.

With coaching currently not a priority for Noble, he will work closely with David Moyes and the directors. The 35-year-old will provide input, advice and assistance across West Ham’s football operation, with responsibilities including a focus on player recruitment, developing the academy and player and staff wellbeing.

PSG are champions but the drama has only begun for Ligue 1’s other 17 clubs

PSG have already been crowned Ligue 1 champions but there is no chance of the season petering out. As May approaches, the word “permutations” makes its annual appearance in the footballing lexicon, bringing with it a sense of powerlessness and paranoia. The relationship between a club’s onfield performances and success is complicated – everything becomes contingent upon what is happening elsewhere and words heard uttered through hand-held radios or notifications popping-up on smartphone screens can engender hopelessness or euphoria in equal measure.

This is usually reserved for the final day of the season but it has already been reached in Ligue 1 with three rounds of games to play. Deciphering the various scenarios in the league fee…

AFC East: 2024 Outlook, Preview, Predictions

AFC East division preview 2024 predicted order of finish, record New York Jets (13-4) Veteran signal-caller Aaron Rodgers is back to take care of business on one side of the ball while what could end up being the top-rated defense in the league will be going to work on the other. Miami Dolphins (11-6) The second-highest scoring team in the league last season essentially brings back the same star-studded offense. Buffalo Bills (9-8) Just because Josh Allen is Josh Allen doesn't mean the offense is going to click with a new receiving corps. New England Patriots (4-13) Coach Jerod Mayo only has a few weapons at his disposal in his first year at the helm. A brutal schedule doesn't make life any easier, either.
